Bus Trip

So this story happened to me when I was doing my UG. I was doing my UG in Chinmaya college, Palakkad. We used to leave to palakkad from vadakkencherry at around 8am every morning. Me n Shajeeb. There were 3 KK Menon bus at around 8am. We would be in one of it. As we started to be regular passengers of KK Menon, we had a group of around 4-5 people. All of us were students. We had made ood relation with the conductors and checkers of KK Menon buses.

One of our main hobby was "Vayanottam". Our trip was of around 1hr and it was d only time pass. There were many girls in different bus stops who used to react to us. React means, they used to stare at us, smile at us. They used to search for us, if we were not in the bus. May be we were thei time pass. Ok, now to my story. One of the main bus stops between Palakkad and vadakkencherry, was Alathur.

One day our bus was in Alathur bus stand. I noticed a girl. Now that was not the part of our usual vayanottam. I recognized her as agirl who studied with me in Cherupushpam. Not my class mate, but my batch mate. Any way the bus left soon. Next day also I saw her at the same bus stop. She was wearing the uniform of IHRD College. I don't know her name. Her standing pose had some peculiaritie.She was standing like, going to hit some one. Legs little spread, Standing erect. Holding the college bag with one hand over her shoulder and other hand droped. She was tall, well built. As one of my friend commented, Vanitha Police. I looked at her, hoping that she may recognize me. But when she saw me, she not even recognized me, but turned her was away with anger. She may have thought we were "Pakka Vaynokkikal". our may be we felt like that. Now that was a real insult for us. How dare she could do this to us. On that day, we decided not to leave her.
Next day onwards, when we reach Alathur, my main duty was to stare at her. Initially her respone was the same as that of first day. But I didn't stop. I continued. As days passeed, she now tried to hide from us. If we also spoted her, she won't look at us. It continued for some day. Now she wont hide. When she spots us, she used to stare back at me, with an angry face. And one day, when she stared at me, I smiled at her. She didnt react. Next day also I smiled. But this time, she smiled back at me. Something like a grin. Oru Kaliyakal style. I to smiled at her in the same way. With that, she broke into real laughter. Following two days, when we reach Alathur, she will be there and she will smile at me. And I too returned.

Next day, I was coming from Tharur. I have to come to Alathur and board Palakkad bus from there. SO I thought, if I get oppurtunity, i'l talk to her. Now I had some friends from Tharur. I came with them to Alathur. We were in Alathur bus stop. She was standing there. I showed her to one of my friend and asked how is she. He looked at her. Said, "that girl? She is the daughter of Alathur C.I.".
Now that was real shock to me. I got really afraid. I didn't dare to look at her or go and talk to her. I simply escaped from there. Next day, when I was in Vadakkencherry Bus stop, I toldmy friends about the new information. Every one of us got scared. What if she had complained about us to her Dad? Now we knew why she was standing like a Vanitha Police.

After that day I havn't travelled on KK Menon bus for a long time. If I had to travell, I would hide myself when I reach Alathur. Anyway I have never seen her again after that incident. Still I dont know her name.
