Invitation!!!

It was onam celebration in our college. Our final year and so that celebrations was big to us.We were preparing for the pookala malsaram (flower carpet competition). Boney came in from the second door. He was so much excited. Jinu and I was cleaning the flowers. Boney came to us and whispered "guys, there is a gorgeous girl standing outside our class room". Jinu asked 'really?'. He looked at me and said 'Let's head?'. I said 'ok'. And so we went out.

And there she was. A gorgeous looking girl. In a beautiful 'Pattupavada'. Cream colored with golden border. 'WOW!'. Thats the word that came out when I so her. (Friends, she is the most beautiful girl that I have ever met.Gorgeous! Girls, no offence.).She was standing there and looking at our auditorium.Jinu headed to her and asked 'Which year?' she said '1st year'.Jinu, 'Why are u standing here alone?' She said 'Waiting for my friends'. I asked, 'Whats your name?'. She said 'you are Vipin, right? We had met.' I, 'When?'. I was surprised.I glanced at Jinu.He was also surprised, or may-be angry at me. She said 'I met u last week. Priya introduced me to you.Don't you rember?'.

Now I remebered her.Priya, our batch mate, she had introduced me to this girl last week. But I didn't notice her as me and Shajeeb were heading to bus stop. Her name was Sahitha. I said to her, 'Sahitha, right?'. She 'Yes!'. I talked to her for sometime.she was standing there, waiting for her friends. All this time Jinu was simply standing witout saying a word.We said bye to her and we went back to our class. As soon as we entered, Jinu pushed me started calling all the bad words he knew.He was angry coz, I didnt tell him, that I know Sahitha earlier.

I explained to him all the episode of meeting her. He said, any way that girl is gorgeous. I declared to them,'I'm going behind this girl'. Jinu said,'ok, u carry on'. Now all boys of the class knew about this.

Jinu and pappu made plans on how I should proceed.First I have to gain her friendship.And When the time is right I can propose.By this plan I started to move.I would come early (our class starts @ 10 and hers @ 9:30) wait in for her in front of the college.And when she arrives I'l acompany her to the class. And in the afternoon I would roam around their class, so that i could get a glimpse of her or if lucky, I could talk to her.Now this became my routine.We even went to the temple, which was inside our college, together.Now I had a good friendships with her.

But had 2 problems,1).She calls me 'chetta' &  2).I had to speak atleast 100 words to make her speak two (Now thats how I learned Kathivekkal and thats how I became so talkative). So i consulted Jinu and Pappu & asked, when can I propose.Jinu said lets wait for some more time.By this time they also knew her. By their opinion she was of Jada type. So I decided to wait & I continued my routine.

One day when I was coming to colleg, I was little late, Sahitha called me from behind.She was standing there with a student of near by school. I went and she introduced to me, the boy, as her brother.Now that was something special.She had introduced to me her brother.Hmm. Its time to strike.When I told about this incident to my class-mates, they too agreed.

Now when-ever I met her, I wanted to propose.But, due to one or other reason, it got tackled. And one day, I decided, I'm gonna do this.I'm gonna propose to her today.That morning, I was there, in front of the college,waiting for her.She came.I went to her and wished her morning.Then the usual talks.When all that finished I made myself ready.She said 'hey, one more thing.I wanted to Invite you to my Engagement.Its on 5th of November.' I said 'Wow! Thats a great news.Where will be the function? And whats your would-be doing?'.She, 'my would-be is doing business. Function will be held at thrissur. Wont't you be coming?'.I said 'Thrissur? that too 5th? Its a working day and we can't miss the classes as Exams are near.And thrissur is so far! Sorry yaar, I can't come. But don't worry.I'l surely come for your marrige'. she, 'Ok'. I said 'And when is the Treatttt?'


(By this incident I got the nickname 'Kalyanaraman'. Which ever girl I go behind, they will get married soon!. What a theory? It was made by Anoop and Jinu. Idiots. .And you know something? I had proved this theory four times.. ;).. Hiihihihi)
